Children’s Pastime

When I was a kid I seldom watches cartoons because that time we don’t have a TV, we went to our neighbor because they have TV but you know little kids, sometime their children wont won’t let us watch they close their windows and door so we can’t go inside or just a peek. So now even if I’m already this matured of age, only the age ehehhe. I always watch cartoons like little nemo, cinderella and more. And now just finish watching Monsters, Inc. a 2001 American computer-animated film and the fourth feature-length film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The two monsters, Sulley and Mike, who work at a power plant that powers the monster world with children’s screams, Mary Gibbs as Boo, a little girl who enters the monster world, as Randall, a rival monster and Mr. Waternoose, the plant’s owner.

I really enjoy watching it since it is my first time to watch this movie, maybe when this movie was release I was having mind block out again (only thinking about sleeping and eating) hehehe. When I look back at my childhood memories, I never remember having experience a monster in our closet, well, first we don’t have a closet as big as the movie was and when I was growing up we never have a room for ourselves. It’s always been the four of us girls in one room so being afraid in the middle of the night was kind of a blur to me. But I remember thought, we always had hard time going out in the night when my parents ask us to buy condiments in the sari2x store near our church or when neighborhood get together and tell scary stories like mananangal or aswang that is scary.

I really have a good laugh watching this movie, their main purpose is to scare little kids so they can collect their screams and use it as their electricity supply in there world but the little girl came along and scenario begone. And the good thing about cartoons is they all have a happy ending so instead of eliminating the child they discover a better and happy way to have their electricity coming without scaring children and turn out to be gaining much energy than scaring little children is to make them laugh. Wonderful right?

The film was released by Walt Disney Pictures on November 2, 2001. It was a commercial and critical success, grossing over $525,366,597 worldwide. Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes also reported extremely positive reviews with a 95% approval rating. The film is scheduled for a 3D re-release on January 18, 2013. Also, a prequel, Monsters University, is scheduled for a June 21, 2013 release. Looking forward to it. :beauty:

Affordable Gifts Online

Since Christmas is nearly here, some of us are excited to buy gifts for our love-ones and some are planning ahead or shop early so that when that day come they don’t have to worry about going to the mall and experience the hassle in fall in a very long line when paying the cashier. And since my other sibling are living abroad my parent’s and I can’t give them gift but now we can. I bump online about redenvelope discounts, we can send the gift to them and not worry where to buy gifts for them or the shipping problem. Regardless my price limit, they have a variety of gift discount that really is helpful when you’re talking about spacial occasion and holidays. Now I know that being on a budget doesn’t mean budget gifts. You don’t need to go to mall just search online and find the best presents at redenvelope.

Who said finding gift is hard and tiring? You can find gifts you like just by setting and staying inside the house minus the heat and traffic outside. All you need is PC with internet connection and your ready and set for the holidays ahead.

Come in Handy

My father’s love to fix broken things in our house, but he is old already, sometimes he forgot where he puts his repair equipment. He doesn’t have a toolbox so he just put it in a bag and my father has a habit to forget where he puts it after using so my mother and I would tell him where it is. Before, my youngest sister is the one helping him organized his tool equipment, but since my sister went abroad and my mother can’t help him with that department because she busy to attending her religious activities so I have no choice, but to assist my father in fixing all broken things in our house. But since my parents are planning to move and I can’t go with them, I too old to live in with them so I decided to live alone and let them enjoy each other’s company. And I know metal detectors is one of my father needs, well except for a my mother, it comes in handy when finding lost things like a coin or a metal equipment use for repairing broken faucets and looking nails use for fixing some broken chair. It is easier with you have a useful equipment inside the house for emergency purposes right?
